Program Overview
The Arthritis Rehabilitation Education Program (AREP) provides a comprehensive range of support services for children and adults living with arthritis. Services are delivered by a dedicated team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Social Workers.
Services are highly flexible and can be customized to your needs. Care is provided individually (in person, by telephone, or via videoconferencing) or within a virtual group setting.
What We Offer
Our rehabilitation and education team offers consultation and guidance on arthritis self-management across your community, home, and workplace environments:
- Customized Arthritis Service Plans: Personalized strategies tailored to address your specific physical, emotional, and psychological management needs.
- Group Education Sessions: Interactive sessions providing essential information, peer support, and proven management techniques for navigating daily life with arthritis.
Program Cost
No Cost to Eligible Clients: This program is fully funded and provided at no cost to clients with a valid Ontario Health Card (OHIP) number.
How to Register
You can self-refer and register for the program directly through the Arthritis Society. No doctor's referral is required.
